Supervisor Chuck Washington Raises Over $150K in Mid-Year Fundraising Report

Riverside County, CA – Riverside County Supervisor Chuck Washington’s campaign announced that as of the June 30, 2019 fundraising deadline, Washington has surpassed $150,000 in total contributions received this year in his bid for re-election. Washington currently represents the 3rd Supervisorial District and is seeking a second term on the Board of Supervisors.

“I am truly honored by the incredible support we’ve received on our campaign.” said Washington. “I’m committed to finding real solutions to the challenges we face at the county level. We must focus on improving our quality of life and delivering results for working families to ensure Riverside County remains a great place to live, work, and visit.” 

Chuck Washington is a former U.S. Navy officer and pilot, commercial airline pilot, and local bank executive who was elected to serve on the Board of Supervisors in 2016. Washington’s extensive background in public service includes serving as both Mayor and Councilmember in Temecula as well as Mayor and Councilmember in Murrieta. Chuck is an independent voice on the Riverside County Board of Supervisors who works tirelessly to improve the efficiency of local government and enhance the quality of life in our neighborhoods.

Chuck holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a master’s degree in Public Administration. He and his wife, Kathy, have been married for over 45 years and own a small business in Temecula. They have one adult daughter, Lindsey, a son-in-law, Elliott, a granddaughter, Charlie and a grandson, Kellen.

The 3rd district includes the cities of Hemet, Murrieta, San Jacinto, and Temecula. The district also includes the unincorporated communities of Aguanga, Anza, Cottonwood Canyon, French Valley, Gilman Hot Springs, Green Acres, Homeland, Idyllwild, Lake Riverside, Mountain Center, Murrieta Hot Springs, Pine Cove, Pinyon Pines, Poppet Flats, Rancho California, Soboba Hot Springs, Twin Pines, Valle Vista, and Winchester.
